This work - ordered online from a website specializing in fakes - reproduces a work by the American artist Sturtevant based on Andy Warhol's famous Flowers, created from a photograph by Patricia Caulfield representing hibiscus, published in Modern Photography in 1964.

Warhol said he wanted to "be a machine"; the process of appropriation (of an appropriation of an appropriation) and of mechanization involved in Steve Giasson's repetition adapts this logic to the digital age.
